Eligibility:
For Officer Bearer (OB) Membership, excluding the Vice President/President-Elect: To be eligible for nomination and election as an Officer Bearer, excluding the Vice President, also known as the President-Elect, a candidate must have served as a member of the Executive Committee (EC) for a minimum total of three (3) years. The three years of EC service need not be consecutive.
In the event that no eligible candidate has submitted a nomination at least seven days prior to the election, the position will be opened to any member. An email notification inviting nominations will be sent to the members seven days prior to the General Body Meeting (GBM) at which the election will be held.
For Vice President/President-Elect: To be eligible for nomination and election to the position of Vice President, also known as the President-Elect, a candidate must meet either of the following additional criteria: the candidate shall have served as a General Executive Committee (EC) member for a total of five (5) years or more; OR the candidate shall have served as a General Executive Committee (EC) member for a total of three (3) years or more and as an Officer Bearer (OB) member for one (1) year or more.
